This exciting 19-day adventure crosses the continent. Commencing in Buenos Aires, the city of tango, and finishing in Lima, founded in 1535 and known then as the ‘City of the Kings’.
After visiting the sites of Buenos Aires and experiencing this cosmopolitan city, transfer to the magnificent Iguassu Falls for two nights. Then, by air, transfer to Salta, located in the centre of the Argentinean winelands. After seeing this colonial city and tasting some of the exquisite wines of the region, the journey continues north into Bolivia, a landlocked country high on the Andean Altiplano. Here the soaring, snow-capped mountain peaks, the desolate salt lakes and incredible landscapes of the Altiplano are sure to leave lasting memories. After visiting La Paz, the world’s highest capital city, we cross Lake Titicaca to Copacabana, Puno and on to Cuzco, the major centre of the Incas. A full day excursion by First Class train and bus takes you to Machu Picchu. After returning to Cuzco with a leisure day to explore the Indian market, fly to Lima for your return or onward flight.

A journey of discovery from Marrakech to the bustling port of Tangier, the gateway to Europe. Visit the imperial city of Meknes before stopping at the famed city of Fes, Morocco's spiritual capital. Stop at the small town of Chefchaouen, nestled amongst hills on the edge of the Rif Mountains before departing from Tangier.

ITINERARY

 

Day 1 Marrakech   [B]
We meet you on arrival at Marrakech airport and transfer you to your riad in the
heart of the Medina.

 

Day 2 Marrakech   [B]
A local guide will accompany us to the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the
Ben Youseff Medressa, and through the crowded and colourful alleys of the
medina and Jamaa el Fna. We also make drive to Gueliz, the new town area,
and visit the Majorelle Gardens a lovely private garden with ponds, cacti, unusual
plants and vivid blue buildings; and then the Menara Gardens a great olive grove
with water reservoir that once used to supply the whole city.

 

Day 3 Marrakech   [B]
Day at leisure to experience this enchanting city at your own pace

 

Day 4 Meknes   [B]
A days’ drive via the towns of Beni Mellal and Khenifra to Meknes. On arrival
check in at your riad for overnight.

 

Day 5 Fes   [B]
During the morning your local guide will escort you to the Royal Stables, the gate
of Bab Mansour, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and through the small
medina. Afternoon drive to the nearby holy town of Moulay Idriss and the Roman
city of Volubilis. Continue to Fes and check in at your hotel in the Ville Nouvelle
for two nights.

 

Day 6 Fes   [B]
A day guided tour of the city visiting the Palace Gates, the old Jewish Quarter,
and the narrow maze-like alleys of Fes el Jedid el Bali, the ancient medina. It’s
like entering the 16th century. See potters and weavers at work, the leather
tanneries, traditional medicine shops, and much more.

 

Day 7 Chefchaouen   [BD]
After breakfast departure to the quaint town of Chefchaouen in the Rif
Mountains. In the afternoon we have a guided introduction to the town, to
discover the medina, the "Ras el Ma" water source that comes out of the
mountains, and you can make a walk to old Spanish Mosque on the hills outside
the town for beautiful panoramic views across the town and surrounding

 

Day 8 Tangier   [B]
Morning at leisure in Chefchaouen. Afternoon drive to Tangier and overnight.

 

Day 9 Depart   [B]
We transfer you to Tangier port for your crossing to Spain
