Departures Guaranteed with min. 2 persons. If you wish to experience what can be described as the ‘weirdest place on earth’, then the Galapagos Islands is the place for you. Everything is different here, the wildlife, the vegetation, the lava tunnels, volcanic craters; you’ll find blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, sea-lions, giant tortoise and iguanas. There are beautiful sandy beaches, so you could find time to swim, snorkel or explore the islands. We offer two options: Island Hopping with accommodation on one island and full day excursions, or the luxury Galapagos Journey cruise. Includes: Local transfers, 4 nights hotel accommodation, meals and excursions as indicated, Transit Control Card, National Park entry fee. ITINERARY Day 1: Baltra Island [LD] Arrive in Baltra and transfer by airport shuttle and ferry to Santa Cruz. Your hotel is near the Charles Darwin Station. Afternoon visit to the Research Station and possibly see giant tortoises on the way. Day 2: Bartholomew Island [BLD] A full-day excursion by boat to either Seymour North or Bartholomew Island to see the blue-footed boobies, birdlife, sea-lion colonies and view across the archipelago.
Day 3: South Plaza Island [BLD] This small island is an uplifted slab of sea floor and home to a large population of sea lions. The steep 25m brittle lava cliffs on the southern side of the island provide a wonderful nesting place for a variety of sea birds.
Day 4: Santa Cruz [BLD] Morning tour visiting the bays of Santa Cruz with lunch included. Afternoon visit to the beaches of Santa Cruz.
Day 5: Baltra [B] Transfer to Baltra airport for your onward flight.
