| Atacama Desert |

4 Days
Departs daily. Min 2 persons The austere beauty of the inhospitable, arid Atacama is the major attraction of this region. It is the driest region in the world, occupies one-quarter of Chile, but accounts for less than five percent of its population. But for several thousands of years, the Atacama has been home to the indigenous people and countless relics have been preserved, almost intact, in the dryness of the desert. Huge salt lakes, ghost towns, sulphurous geysers, the Valle de Luna, and the small oasis village of San Pedro make a visit worthwhile.
