ITINERARY
 

Day 01: Dar es Salaam
On arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport you are met and greeted by your safari Guide. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Golden Tulip - 4 Star.

Day 02: Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve   [BLD]
08:30am After breakfast short tour of Dar es Salaam. Visit Nyumba ya Sana, drive on Harbour, Kariakoo Market and the Askari Monument. Then drive to the Selous Game Reserve, (365km approx 6 hours), drive through scenic en-route local villages, cultural and coconut plantation farms before arriving at your lodge at around 03:30pm. After check in at your Lodge, the afternoon is at leisure to 06:00pm. Dinner and overnight stay at Mbega Camp – 3 Star.

Day 03: Selous Game Reserve   [BLD]
After early breakfast enjoy your 2 excursion a day, at 07:00 Enjoy your 2 hours walking safari (approx AUD$73 pp) with armed ranger, than back to your lodge for leisure, bird watching from your lodge followed by lunch. Afternoon at your lodge enjoy Boat safari (approx AUD$73 pp) from 03:30pm to 05:30pm, back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mbega Camp - 3 Star.

Day 04: Selous Game Reserve   [BLD]
08:00am After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive before returning to your lodge for lunch. Afterwards, your lodge continue with your afternoon game drive as you drive 80km north toward the Beho Beho area. Check-in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Sable Mountain Lodge - 4 Star.

Day 05: Selous Game Reserve to Mikumi National Park   [BLD]
After breakfast say farewell to Selous Game Reserve and exit through the Matembwe gate. Drive to Mikumi National Park (200km approx 5 hours), with a stop for refreshments in Town of Morogoro. We arrive at Mikumi in time for a late lunch, followed by an afternoon game. Dinner and overnight stay at Vuma Hill Lodge or Mikumi Wildlife Lodge - 4 Star.

Day 06: Mikumi National Park   [BLD]
Full day of game viewing in Mikumi National Park. Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Lodge or Mikumi Wildlife Lodge - 4 Star.

Day 07: Mikumi National Park to Ruaha National Park   [BLD]
After breakfast, we drive from Mikumi National Park to Ruaha National Park. En-route we pass the Great Ruaha River, Kitonga Hills and Iringa Town, arriving at our camp in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Tanadala Tented Camp, Ruaha River Lodge or Mdonya Old River Camp - 4 Star. (Optional Night Game drive at Tandala Camp: allow AUD$73)

Day 08 -9: Ruaha National Park   [BLD]
Two full days of game viewing in the Ruaha National Park with time to relax in the lodge. Optional Night Game drives are available on request.

Day 10: Ruaha National Park to Dar es Salaam   [BL]
08:00am: After breakfast say farewell to your Tanzania safari and return to Dar es Salaam (approx 7 hours drive). (Activities: En-route game drive, Transfer, Villages, Local Towns, Farming area). End of Services.
