Family Holiday in Vietnam
Upcoming school holiday departures -

25 September/ 8 January

This program is intended for young families, or for those who want a relaxing break from every-day life. We have included short tours to the major sites and markets of Saigon and Hanoi, so as not to tire the younger family members and to provide opportunities to purchase jeans and Nikes at bargain rates. Also included are leisurely days on the beach at Nha Trang and at a resort-style hotel in the medieval town of Hoi An. You will find time to relax and unwind while the kids splash in outdoor swimming pools. In our view- Fiji eat your heart out. This is so much better.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Livingstone [LD]

Your guide will collect you from the airport and transfer you to our campsite on the Zambezi River . After some time for relaxation, go on a guided walk to explore the Victoria Falls region.

Day 2 & 3: Lake Kariba [BLD]

The group will make its way to the shores of Lake Kariba , about 160km downstream from Victoria Falls . Here, the Zambezi flows into a vast artificial lake created by one of the world's largest dams. Explore the area and relax on a sunset cruise.

Day 4 – 7: Zambezi Valley [BLD]

Drive down into the Lower Zambezi Valley and spend three nights camping on the banks of the Zambezi River . The river attracts elephants and other wildlife from the surrounding wilderness, see it all up close while exploring by canoe.

Day 8: Lusaka [BLD]

Leave the Lower Zambezi and drive to Lusaka , Zambia 's capital. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore on your own, we recommend a visit to the markets.

Day 9 & 10: Kafue National Park [BLD]

Early morning departure from Lusaka and drive to the northern part of the Kafue National Park where we camp for two nights. This reserve covers a huge area of wetland and Miombo woodland and game viewing is fantastic. The Kafue River is seldom visited by tourists and has stretches of wilderness reminiscent of ancient primal Africa .

Day 11 & 12: Kafue National Park [BLD]

Spend the next two nights exploring the southern part of Kafue . The water of Lake Itezhi-Tehzi , the Ngoma Forest and Nanzhila Plain provide some of Africa 's best game viewing opportunities.

We make our way back to Livingstone. The tour ends after breakfast on day 14.
