Circuit 2 Map

This journey covers many of the major sites of South America in three memorable weeks. Not only will you visit the exciting city of Buenos Aires, seeing the magnificent architecture and sun-filled public squares with buskers dancing the tango. Then you fly north to the magnificent Iguaçu Falls, follow the viewing trails on both sides of the border, and onwards to exciting Rio de Janeiro. You ascend Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car, stroll along Ipanema and Copacabana Beaches and explore the city. We then fly to Lima, capital of Peru. From here we travel deep into the Amazon Forest to experience the dense vegetation and wildlife of this unique environment. After returning to Lima we enter the Land of the Inca where we not only see the incredible ruins of Machu Picchu, the Lost City, but also experience the beauty of the Colca Canyon, the Indians living on the floating islands of Lake Titicaca, the colonial architecture of Arequipa, and the Indian markets of Pisac and Cuzco.

This route includes crossing the Andes twice; once between the highest peaks in South America to Mendoza and Buenos Aires, and again through the southern peaks between the Germanic towns of Bariloche and Puerto Varas (or via the Lakes Crossing). Along this route you’ll find majestic mountains, glaciers, lakes surrounded by beautiful southern beech forest, vineyards stretching to the horizon, exciting cities, rural villages and spectacular scenery. Then comes another surprise as you enter the Empire of the Sun and the ancient cities of the Inca. You’ll see Machu Picchu, Cuzco, Arequipa and the dramatic Colca Canyon, shop at Indian street markets and find exquisite examples of Spanish baroque architecture.

Circuit 4 Map

This is an amazing route. Start with a few days in Buenos Aires, known as the ‘Paris of South America’ where the rhythm of the tango fills the air in San Telmo and La Boca. You then travel south to the national park at Peninsula Valdes where you could see migrating whales, sea-elephant and colonies of penguin. Travel further south to Ushuaia, the world’s most southern city, and to Tierra del Feugo. We then stop at the huge, and growing, Perito Moreno Glacier before crossing the Andes Mountains into southern Chile and the Torres del Paine Nat. Park. After exploring the Chilean Lakes we head for the capital of Chile; Santiago. The journey continues as you fly into Peru to visit Lima, Yucay, Cuzco, the Indian market at Pisac, Machu Picchue, Puno and Lake Titicaca. But it’s not over yet! Continue to Quito and see the diverse sights and indigenous cultures of Ecuador- and you may wish to extend to the unique Galapagos Islands.

From the moment you arrive in Santiago de Chile, to your departure from Salvador de Bahia in Brazil, you’ll be amazed at the diversity of both landscape and culture that this circuit offers. Plaza de Armas in Santiago, crowded with artists displaying their work, the Indian inhabitants of Atacama, tango dancers in San Telmo and the samba rhythm filling the air in Rio and Bahia are only some of the attractions. Add the desolate landscape of salt pans at Atacama, the lush beech forests and lakes of Puerto Varas, the snow-capped peaks of the Torres del Paine, the vineyards of Mendoza, the avenues of Buenos Aires, the beaches of Rio, the magnificent Iguaçu Falls and the dense rain forest of the Amazon. This route offers it all.

Circuit 7 Map

This amazing circuit commences with your arrival in Santiago de Chile. After seeing the sights of this city you board the public bus for the journey across the high Andes to Mendoza in the centre of Argentina’ s wine district, and then to the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires for three nights. Here you’ll see the colonial buildings, the wide boulevards, the tango dancers. You next fly north to the Iguaçu Waterfalls for 2 nights. While there see this incredible sight from both the Argentinean and Brazilian side. Next we fly you south to the village of Bariloche, nestled against the Andres in the Lake District. From here you board a catamaran for transit through the lake district to Puerto Varas in Chile, then to the Torres del Paine National Park and Punta Arenas. You then board a semi-scientific cruise, the MS Via Australis, for a cruise through the Straits of Magellan and Darwin’s Passage with excursions, by Zodiac, into the fjords and glaciers. After disembarking in Ushuaia, the world’s most southern city, fly north to the Glacier Perito Moreno, then return to Buenos Aires for onward arrangements.

Argentina- Bolivia- Peru

This exciting 19-day adventure crosses the continent. Commencing in Buenos Aires, the city of tango, it completes in Lima, founded in 1535 and known then as the ‘City of the Kings’.
After visiting the sites of Buenos Aires and experiencing this cosmopolitan city, transfer to the magnificent Iguassu Falls for two nights. Then, by air, transfer to Salta, located in the centre of the Argentinean winelands. After seeing this colonial city, and tasting some of the exquisite wines of the region, the journey continues north into Bolivia, a landlocked country high on the Andean Altiplano. Here the soaring, snow-capped mountain peaks, the desolate salt lakes and incredible landscapes of the Altiplano are sure to leave lasting memories. After visiting La Paz, the world’s highest capital city, we cross Lake Titicaca to Copacabana, Puno and on to Cuzco, the major centre of the Inca. A full day excursion by First Class train and bus takes you to Machu Picchu. After returning to Cuzco with a leisure day to explore the Indian market, fly to Lima for your return or onward flight.
