Also included are leisurely days on the beach at Nha Trang and at a resort-style hotel in the medieval town of Hoi An. The ruins of Mycenae, Olympia, Epidaurus and the Acropolis bear witness to this. All visitors to Greece prefer to see these important sites. But, today, Greece offers more than its many historical sites. Mountains fill the landscapes of Northern Greece. In these mountains you’ll find the pinnacle rock formations of Meteora. Here ancient monasteries sit precariously atop these pinnacles and can be reached only by hidden stairs or basket hoist. Delphi, site of the oracle, has been a pilgrimage site since recorded time began. The harsh landscapes of the Peloponnesus are home to traditional villages where life seems unchanged.
