This tour includes the first 11 days of the ‘Amazing Turkey tour, then travels eastwards through Kayseri (famous for its carpets) following the 13thC Caravanserai route to the Tekir Plateau, then to Urfa and Harran in Eastern Turkey.

A unique tour that explores both the natural and classical wonders of Turkey, and also the beauty of the Turquoise Coast.  On this tour you’ll see the historic sites of Istanbul, Ankara, the fairy castles of Cappadocia and calcium pools of Pamukkale, and then follow the Turquoise Coast from Antalya to Kusadasi with excursions by boat along the coast and up-river to the thermal pools at Dalyan, and finally to the Gallipoli Peninsula before returning to Istanbul for a day at leisure.

This tour includes visits to the attractions of Istanbul, the ancient Greco-Roman cities of Troy, Pergamum, Ephesus and Aphrodisias, the natural wonders of Pamukkale and Cappadocia and ANZAC Cove, and the most beautiful part of the Turquoise Coast. Rather than staying at modern hotels in the major cities, we prefer small, more traditional Turkish hotels in quaint and historical towns where we can enjoy the special hospitality of family-managed establishments and the restored local architecture.
