The country boasts famous beaches like Copacabana and Ipanema, and the exciting cities of Rio and Bahia, the Amazon Jungle, Samba and Carnivale. Brazil’s history is also a colourful mix; the Portuguese discovery of gold, the establishments of rubber and coffee plantations, slavery, and finally the world’s discovery of its ideal climate and fantastic beaches. But it is the warmth and wonderful spontaneity of the people and their natural rhythm and sense of the exotic which has developed and attracts visitors to this place.
